THE ART OF ZAR

The Art of ZAR is the one-person music project of the Incarnate Ishtar- not to be confused with the Middle Eastern pop star whom calls herself  "Ishtar".  No two pieces sound the same. Electronic genres include Classical Ambient, Ambient, Electronica and Industrial.  

 

The name is a double entendre, the core of Zarael and a play on words based on The Art of War, as Ishtar is the God/dess of Sexual Love, Politics, Fertility and War. The Chinese would refer to sex as "rosy combat", besides, and Ishtar was very influenced by Chinese philosophy.  You will hear lyrics concerning justice, war, lust and devotion. Pieces were recorded in 2010 (female voice plus Anti-War Dance), 2012 and 2022 for the Children of Darkness.  Modern mass murder warfare machines are not the way of the Creators for humans, nor are wars over religious beliefs, thus Anti-War Dance.

 

Musick for the Empire is about Divine connection, Inner Alchemy, Ascension and the pitfalls of lust for power, as well as the Return of the Gods. It is meant to be heard in sequence. Both male and female voices are Ishtar. 

 

Starlight Symphony is the sound of Ishtar's Soul and Spirit, imbued with Heart & Healing. You will hear parts of it or the entire piece looped in podcasts and videos as well. It is available as a single. Ishtar's music project streams on services such as Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music.
